We had some nice, windy storms at the end of August. As a child, my siblings and I used to play in the storms with sheets tied to our wrists and ankles. This was all before Andrea was born so Heather and I suggested to her that she enjoy these storms the way we did. I don't think she got the full effect doing it by herself but it was fun to watch her.

The end of August also brought about the end of my residence at the Peach Palace. Lauren, Jessa, and I made sure we left with a bang and spent two days packing, sleeping in the front room, decorating the bathroom in streamers, watching scary movies til 2 in the morning, burning boxes of matches in the front yard, and dragging the most ADORABLE neighbor boy around town for a day just to name a few.

Lauren and I had wanted to go camping all summer and we finally did it! We went up Squaw Peak with some friends from our ward. We couldn't find any open camping sites so we made our own fire pit in the middle of a meadow and we laid out our sleeping bags. So much fun!!!
A quick glimpse at a few of the awesome people that came

Our homemade firepit :)

After attending an amazing George Strait concert last summer my dad and I decided to try our luck with another concert. This time it was John Michael Montgomery. It was at the Scera Shell in Orem so the tickets were super cheap and we got 3rd row seats!!! Andrea wanted a chance to wear her new cowboy boots so she joined us for the adventure. I don't know if I am a fan of his voice so much, but he writes/performs the BEST love songs of all time.
My camera makes us look farther away than we really were

That is all I have time for now. Hopefully the part 2 will be coming soon...
