Girl's Night Out

Last Saturday, my stake did a triathalon and so my roommate, Steff, and I decided to do it. Steff did it all on her own and I joined a relay team, so I did the bike portion. It was a 3 mile run, 12 mile ride, and 600 meter swim. By the end of the triathalon we were tired and so proud of ourselves so we spent the rest of the day pampering ourselves. We first went shopping at the mall where Steff got some clothes for running and I got more piano music! Then we decided we needed to have a night out on the town and meet some boys so we got all dressed up and came up with a plan to go to Chili's for dinner, Sparks for drinks, and then the Creamery for ice cream.
We ended up gettin the Chili special of an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $20. We took the dessert to-go and left half of our food for boxes to take home. It was a really good deal; all that food for just $20.

Sparks is my new favorite place! I think they should definitely have more places like this in Utah Valley. Basically, its a virgin bar. It looks just like what I would have pictured a club or bar to look like but all the drinks are virgin!

Shoes and Drinks. Probably two of my favorite parts of the evening. I think I have a secret addiction to these pointy shoes. I absolutely love them! And I have found that they pretty much go with just about any dress or skirt. They can even be worn with jeans! I also loved my drink. I got a shirley temple and it came with cotton candy. How cool is that!?!

Here is another shoe shot, but from a different location. We decided halfway through our drinks to go sit on some empty couches and it worked to our advantage because not too long after some guys came over and sat down with us. So instead of going to the Creamery for ice cream, we stayed and chatted with them. (We were actually very full and probably weren't going to make it there anyways) All in all it was a very successful night; one to definitely remember!
